Campus SaVE Act Compliance
In response to mounting evidence that colleges and universities across the country were mishandling reports of sexual violence on campus, Congress passed the Campus Sexual Violence Elimination Act (Campus SaVE Act) in 2013. Regulations contained in the Campus SaVE Act complement existing protections for college students outlined in Title IX and update the Jeanne Clery Act by providing new guidelines for sexual and intimate partner violence prevention and response resources on college campuses.
To comply with the Campus SaVE Act, colleges and universities must provide programming which raises awareness about sexual assault and intimate partner violence. Speak About It is proud to offer a range of programming which can help schools improve the quality of their educational programming around these issues and comply with federal requirements.
