We hope everyone is enjoying the wonderful fall (and late summer, here in Portland) and settling into another school year. But before we get too comfortable in our fleece-lined slippers, we get to gear up for another show! That’s right, we’re excited and honored to say that we’ll be presenting Speak About It at the Building Campus and Community Collaboration for
Sexual Violence Prevention and Response Conference sponsored by the Maine Coalition Against Sexual Assault (MECASA) at the University of Maine at Orono. The one-day conference on Thursday, October 27th will bring together public and private, on- and off-campus resources for sexual assault from across the state of Maine and beyond. We have an opportunity to work with advocates and educators from the Sexual Assault Response Services of Southern Maine, Boys to Men, Maine Coalition Against Sexual Assault, the Maine National Guard and the Mabel Wadsworth Women’s Center. On-campus resources from the University of Southern Maine, the University of Maine at Orono and Harvard University will also be present. So, we’re pretty excited!
For more information about the conference, please visit the MECASA website.
Stay tuned for a recap about the show and more information for our winter shows!
